I am a proponent of primary sources.  If you are interested in PVC roofing,
then you should go to the source.  Learn as much as you can.  Check
footnotes.  Make your own decisions.  Speaking with the manufacturer is a
legitimate method of gathering information.
Don¹t believe everything you read, even on this list.
