A sustainability and green building colleague, Susan Boyd, is developing
a collaborative Sustainable Schoolyard exhibit as part of the US Botanic
Garden's Sustainability-themed summer exhibit, which runs from May 24 -
Oct. 13 on the national mall. She is in search of a classic garden
bench, curved or straight, about 5.5' - 6' long and about 16"
wide/deep. The bench will be overlaid with a gorgeous botanic mosaic,
created by artist volunteers. All the components of the exhibit are
green, sustainable, salvaged, re-usable, etc. A used stone, concrete or
wood "green" bench would be great. Installation is the week of May 12
so she needs to find one asap.

Susan also needs a few hours of time from a DC-area native plant expert
to assist with plant selection for the garden, also asap.

Donors will be recognized on the exhibit's website and any donation
would be tax-deductible. If any of you can help, please let her know at
202.328.8160 or sboyd at concern.org <mailto:sboyd at concern.org>.

Many thanks and hope to see many of you on visits to this exciting exhibit!
