Big Green: Cotton Insulation for a Hospital

Michelle,
Be careful when using a fibrous, permeable insulation for an environment
such as a hospital that is likely to have elevated humidity in winter if
your project is in a northern climate. With vapor permeable insulation
in the stud cavity I recommend that hygrothermal analysis be performed
to ascertain that the dew point will not fall within the insulation or
inside of the sheathing.
