Big Green: Carbon loading

Can anyone point me to a current, reliable list of

    - the CO2 emissions per gallon/therm/ton of all the major fuels used in heating buildings?

    -the BTU capacity of each of these fuels?

I have some students who have hand-calculated the heat loss seasonal heat load for a sample building and I would like them to calculate the likely size of carbon loading for each of several different kinds of carbon-based fuel.
