Hello Biggreeners

This is to announce a 3 day national conference/convention for the American Rainfall Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA), which will be held Sept 16 thru 18, 2008 at the Delfina hotel in Santa Monica. This is a component of the new California Green Building program

ARCSA is a non-profit 501c-3 for the promotion and education about rainfall catchment

The day before ARCSA will be holding an all day training session for designers and installers to grant ARCSA accreditation for being an "accredited professional" This training session will also be open to the general public and those not interested in becoming accredited. The accreditation process also includes a comprehensive written test administered by ARCSA.

If you have questions regarding Rainfall Catchment/Rainwater Harvesting and are interested in having them answered, please plan to set aside the 15th to the 18th of September, 2008. You will meet many Rainwater Harvesting Professionals from around the country and will have well defined topics covered by experts.

We will also be dealing with the water rights issue and the relationship of Rainwater Harvesting to Stormwater mediation.

Please check out the attached PDF for particulars about registration and accreditation. You may contact ARCSA at info at ARCSA.org for more information. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have at water at interisland.net .
