Big Green: Black white or green

Long term subscribers may recall my lack of enthusiasm for green 
roofs and opposition to the opportunity to gain LEED points by 
painting roofs a reflective colour (instead of actively using the 
solar resource).  My talk to the Canadian Green Building Council, as 
a member of the UKTI Green and Sustainable Buildings Mission to 
Toronto on 20th January 2009, can be seen on
